Diligence Offshore Services Partners with AccuSolar for Landmark Pleasure Island Power Collective Project
Diligence Offshore Services, a Houston-based clean energy company, has announced a strategic partnership with AccuSolar, a U.S. floating solar manufacturing company, for the development of the Pleasure Island Power CollectiveTM with power distributed through the Canaan Energy CorridorTM.
This collaboration marks a significant step forward for the project, which is poised to bring substantial economic growth and a significant number of manufacturing jobs, both during the construction phase and for long-term operations, to the Port Arthur area. The project is historic, as it is being developed by the first independently Black-owned company to develop utility-scale infrastructure of this magnitude.

The Pleasure Island Power Collective, a hybrid renewable energy project and data center, will be built on 2,275 acres across Pleasure Island and Sabine Lake. The project will feature:
The largest floating solar array in the United States at 391 megawatts, designed and manufactured by AccuSolar.
A 225-megawatt coastal onshore wind farm.
Utility-scale battery energy storage system.
Data center for adaptive superintelligence, powered entirely by the clean energy generated on-site.
In a move to expedite the project’s timeline and deliver immediate economic benefits to the community, Diligence Offshore is actively pursuing a DPA Title 1 DX rating under the Defense Production Act. Securing this rating would significantly compress the project’s development schedule, allowing for a record-breaking deployment. This accelerated timeline would create immediate manufacturing jobs and introduce critical new manufacturing capabilities, strengthening the region’s industrial base and supply chain resilience.
AccuSolar’s selection reinforces the project’s commitment to U.S. based manufacturing and its role in building a robust domestic supply chain for renewable energy.
