Protecting the people building it. Protecting the equipment that will help treat cancer.

At a state-of-the-art cancer treatment facility, Layher's Keder XL mobile roof provides protective cover for crews working on site and two LINAC machines, critical equipment used to deliver radiation therapy.

Supporting the roof’s installation, Layher SIM2Field brought the design into view on site. The client and crews could visualize the planned structure before work began, then reference it throughout the build to better understand the layout and support faster, safer assembly.

From the digital design to the roof overhead, a carefully planned solution for a project where protection matters.

Now this is what we call a view. 😎

More than 100 meters above Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban, South Africa, crews needed a way to reach its sweeping steel arch for renovation.

The answer was a suspended scaffold shaped to follow the arch, built with Layher’s Allround FW System, TwixBeam and flexible Allround Scaffolding.

The detail that gets us? The arch sways under high wind loads. The scaffold doesn’t. 😏

Built for supersonic speeds. Surrounded by Allround.

For 25 years, this Tupolev Tu-144 has been sitting nearly 100 feet above Germany’s Technik Museum Sinsheim. Now, it’s getting a refresh, and crews needed safe access around the aircraft from nose to tail.

The solution? About 110 tons of Layher Allround Scaffolding. 😎

The structure was planned in 3D using LayPLAN CAD to account for the aircraft, museum roof and site conditions before assembly began. Our SIM2Field XR then brought that same model into the field to help guide installation.

With no anchoring permitted to the aircraft, the scaffold was widened and braced at the nose for stability, while TwixBeams transferred the loads into the supporting structure of the museum roof below.

A pretty impressive combination of Allround flexibility, engineering and digital planning… with an even better view. 😏

Apparently, a business with no sign is a sign of no business. Our Québec team wasn’t taking any chances. So they got two. 😏

Our new Québec branch officially has its Layher signage up, and we’re loving the modern look the team has brought to the space.

Every Layher location has a little personality of its own, and this one is no exception. From the architecture and signage to landscaping featuring some plants native to Québec, they are making this branch distinctly theirs while keeping it unmistakably Layher.

Safe to say, the new Québec branch is looking *almost* as sharp as our material. 😎 Cheers to all who helped bring our newest branch to life!

12 active railway tracks + a new pedestrian and cycling bridge taking shape directly above them. And yes, the trains still need to keep moving. 🙃

In Koblenz, Germany, Layher Allround® is doing double duty as both shoring and working scaffold, all from one modular system.

Add in 3D planning and SIM2Field XR for digital support in the field, and this is exactly what we mean when we say: built to adapt. 💪

Hard to believe it's already been a week since Nashville kicked off. We'd happily do it all over again. 😉

The Scaffold & Access Industry Association Annual Convention is always one of the highlights of our year.

Throughout the week, we reconnected with longtime customers, met new faces, exchanged ideas, shared plenty of laughs, and by Friday, many of us had completely lost our voices. 😄

One message from outgoing SAIA President Michael Bredl really stayed with us: while many of us compete in the marketplace, we're all responsible for strengthening the industry we share.

We couldn't agree more.

At Layher, competition inspires us to keep innovating, engineering better solutions, and raising our own standards. But the greatest progress happens when we all work toward the same goals: safer jobsites, stronger education, access to better training, and creating more value for the people who rely on our industry every day.

A sincere thanks to everyone who visited our booth, joined us at our Layher appreciation events, shared ideas, and spent time with our team throughout the week. We truly enjoyed every conversation.

Historic preservation comes with modern challenges.

Restoration work on a historic Venetian palace required an access solution that could navigate tight logistics, limited staging areas, and an intricate centuries-old façade.

Temporary infrastructure doesn't have to look temporary.👏

For this waterfront fan event overlooking Elliott Bay in Seattle, one of our local partners used Layher Public Access Stairs to help create a unique venue built to bring people together. By integrating seamlessly into the overall design, the stairs delivered the reliable pedestrian access the event required without taking away from the atmosphere.

Just another great example of how the right system can elevate the entire project and event experience.

Critical bridge repairs demand more than safe access... they demand smart planning, efficient systems, and true engineering.

For refurbishment work on Sweden's longest road bridge, Layher FlexDeck® helped create a suspended work platform beneath the bridge that was tailored to the project's unique requirements.

With fewer suspension points, a cantilevered assembly method, and seamless integration with Layher Allround®, the solution helped crews work more efficiently while supporting an accelerated construction schedule and minimizing bridge closure times.

Imagine working in temperatures below -40°F.

This recent project in Alaska supported the decommissioning of a nuclear reactor facility that had been in place for more than 50 years. With months of extreme cold and a demanding schedule, careful planning and engineering were critical to the project's success.

Layher provided the engineering design, on-site training, and scaffold solution to our partner for an internal containment structure built within an existing weather enclosure. Using a combination of our Allround®, Keder XL, and FW System, the team delivered a solution tailored to the project's unique requirements.
