Two spotless LS 6.0 iron blocks! 🔥
They definitely didn’t start out looking like this. Our thermal cleaner and shot blaster stripped them down to look as close to brand new as possible. Honestly, this is the only way to thoroughly clean an iron block to prepare it for precise machining. A standard spray washer simply can't come close—the coolant jackets would still be a complete mess, and it definitely won't touch that stubborn factory LS black paint. If you want your machine work done right, it all starts with a perfectly clean block! 🛠️💪

These connecting rods are “brand new” but have sat on a shelf in the open for about 25 years, and they didn’t start out looking like this when they got to me! 😬I’m working with a bunch of new parts for a 440 Mopar build that have sat around for decades, so the cleanup process is brutal. 🤦‍♂️

A proper foundation starts with proper machine work.

This Dart LT aluminum block just received a true 3-step diamond plateau hone, producing the correct cylinder wall finish for modern performance ring packages. The final surface provides excellent ring seal, reduced friction, and long-term durability.

There’s more to cylinder preparation than simply making it round. The honing process is where power, oil control, and engine longevity begin. Every bore is measured, honed, and finished with precision to achieve the desired surface profile and crosshatch pattern.

This is a head that was an absolute disaster, with burned-up exhaust valves, pounded exhaust seats, and wiped-out exhaust guides.
Brand new exhaust guides, new exhaust valves, and seats precisely cut, and it's ready to go for a million miles! 💪😎 Is cutting corners and pushing substandard work out my door an option? No, it hasn't been for over forty years; my pride and respect for my customers won't allow me to do that. Pride is really lacking in this country today. 😪
