Western States Soil Conservation, Inc. is currently seeking a CDL Driver / Drillers Helper for our Hubbard, Oregon location. The role of a CDL Driver / Drillers Helper is the transportation of equipment to and from job locations, as well as assisting in the day-to-day operations and maintenance of Auger, Mud Rotary, HQ Core and Sonic Rigs. This is a very physically demanding position; the ideal candidate must have the ability to lift 50+ lbs. on a regular basis, enjoy working outdoors, and have an excellent driving record.

It takes a lot of permitting and a lot of coordination to drill near an working rail line! For City of Oregon City's Quiet Zone project, Central's Reed Kistler shared that he and Jessica Pence obtained permits with with the local jurisdiction and the railroad (Union Pacific Railroad), coordinated rail flaggers as well as standard traffic control to keep everything running smoothly with teaming partner Western States Drilling.
