We continued rafters today! It’s coming together, the main ridge is up. Now we focus on the garage gable, dining room gable in the back. This house is not the most difficult I’ve ever built but there are definitely some challenges. Steep pitches ( 27 foot 2x10 rafters), bastard valleys ( irregular pitches), 2x12 ridges and 2x12valleys, open ceilings in the back, three live dormers ( open to below). But I’m thankful we produced this much today. The crew did great and I’m very proud! This house is for sale in the Smith Mountain Lake area if you know anybody interested!
