Vernon's machine tool repair history started in 1979, at the age of 23, with General Electric Apparatus Repair Shop, located in St. In 1981, he was hired as a field service engineer by Mazak Corporation, headquartered in Florence, Kentucky. From 1981 to 1991 Vern traveled the United States, Mexico, Japan, and Canada troubleshooting and repairing Mazak Machine Tools. In 1991 he was promoted to the

regional service manager for Mazak's Houston region, with the responsibility to provide service to 11 states, manage 27 employees and an office staff of 5. After 5 Years at this position, his love for fixing these machines, and desire to become a small business owner lead him to start his own repair company, V-tech Machine Tool Repair Services, in April of 1996. Since this time he has successfully served the states of Texas, Louisisana and Oklahoma. with a lifelong quest to live and settle down in Florida, V-Tech sold its Houston operation, relocated to Hudson, Florida in February of 1999 and is now servicing the entire state of Florida and the Caribbean.
