Melt Shop Automation Engineer – Nucor Steel Berkeley, Huger, SC

Nucor Steel Berkeley is seeking a Melt Shop Automation Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and automation equipment.

Safety is a top priority, and candidates must demonstrate leadership in safety practices.

Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5 years of electrical maintenance/automation experience.

Preferred:
• Advanced automation experience, Melt Shop knowledge,
4-year Electrical Engineering degree, Siemens S7, and Wonderware/Aveva experience.

Building Stronger Communities, Together! 💪🏽🏡

At Nucor Steel Berkeley, we are proud to support our teammates both inside and outside of the mill. Recently, several of our female teammates took the day to volunteer in the local Women Build event with East Cooper Habitat for Humanity — helping to create safe, affordable housing right here in our community.

⚾️🌭 Nucor Picnic Day at Joe Riley Stadium! 🌭⚾️

Earlier this month, Nucor Steel Berkeley hosted a Teammate Picnic Day at the RiverDogs baseball stadium.

It was a great time spent with teammates, families, and friends enjoying the game, good food, and great company. From cheering in the stands to sharing laughs, it was a perfect reminder of what makes the Nucor family so special — our teammates.
