Garden City Community College is proud to announce a naming rights partnership with the Finnup Foundation for the construction shop inside the Security State Bank Construction Trades Center. 🏗️

The space will be named the Finnup Foundation Construction Trades Shop, recognizing the foundation’s longstanding support of GCCC and its commitment to expanding educational opportunities for students.

In 2024, the Finnup Foundation provided a $300,000 matching grant that helped kickstart fundraising for the Construction Trades Center. This latest partnership continues a legacy of investing in GCCC students and the future of our region.

🚧 Currently under construction, the nearly 11,000-square-foot center is scheduled for completion in December 2026 and will expand hands-on training opportunities in electrical technology and construction trades.

One year ago today we decided to make the leap into our own operation. What a journey it has been. We are blessed to have experienced both the highs and the lows.
