Upper structure came crashing down on top of the gearbox knocking a sizeable hole in the top half. Gears were not damaged and the overall integrity of the gearbox appears to be okay. That said, we needed to re-seal the gearbox from the weather. To do that, we fit a 1/4" steel plate over the hole and welded it, and the cracks, using Ni-rod.
