NASA's RAMFIRE project is pushing the boundaries of rocket technology with its innovative use of additive manufacturing to tackle the challenges of aerospike engines! While these engines have shown promise, they have yet to be used beyond demonstrational flights due to their complexity. Will this new approach finally make aerospike engines viable for operational use? Discover more about this exciting development in the article!

NASA's RAMFIRE project has additively manufactured a 36-inch diameter aerospike nozzle with complex integral coolant channels, which NASA engineers will use as a proof of concept to inform future component designs.

Check out these awesome parts we were able to help design and build for A Homestead Brew. They wanted something unique that represented their business and we were happy to deliver. If you look closely you can see a Hop integrated into the handle with a complex lattice that can only be made by additive manufacturing.
