Big thank you to Cody Hite Customs for absolutely nailing our Derecho Lucy storm shirts! These turned out better than we could have imagined.

Restoration efforts following Derecho Lucy were some of our largest to date, and we’re incredibly proud of the work our Variable crews were able to accomplish alongside NIPSCO to help get communities back up and running.

These shirts are a pretty cool way to remember the long days, hard work and teamwork that went into this restoration.

Thank you again, Cody Hite Customs, for bringing our vision to life!

STORM RESTORATION UPDATE | AUG. 24

Restoration efforts continue across Northwest Indiana, and crews are still working hard to safely get the lights back on.

As of 11 a.m. CT:
• 10,712 customers currently without power
• Approximately 3,878 remaining out from the Aug. 11 storm and subsequent storms
• 364,824 customers restored since the start of the event
• 374,500 total outages since Aug. 11

We’re proud of our Variable crews and every hand still out there putting in the long hours. The numbers are coming down, but the work continues. Stay safe and keep pushing!
