Duties:
• Assist crew leader in laying, fitting, and testing small to large pipe
• Assist crew in placing and finishing concrete
• Assist crew leader in all excavation
• Assist with basic equipment maintenance
• Operate construction equipment (i.e. skid loader, power tools)
• Arrive at Huntington Shop location or active site on time
• Receive initial and annual safety training
Min Requirements:
• Dependable
• Overtime Availability
• Acceptable interpersonal skills
• The ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• The ability to respond quickly to sounds
• The ability to traverse uneven terrain
• The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations
• The ability to safely climb ladders
• The ability to work in adverse weather
• The ability to wear personal protective gear for long periods
o Must have protective boots with safety toe
o High visibility Clothing must be worn at all times on-site
Preferred skills:
• Construction Experience
• HS, GED, or other formal education
• Industry Certifications
