Just wanted to reach out to everyone and let you know the GIVEAWAY is in a week. And I wanted to reiterate you have to LIKE, COMMENT, AND SHARE my post. I think people are engaging on others shared post and it's showing I have 131 likes, 47 comments, and 74 shares but when I click on the post it only shows 46 likes, 33 comments, and 74 shares.

Hell everybody, my name is Caleb Hadaway and I'm the owner of Had A Way Service And Solutions LLC a locally owned small business. I'm trying to reach out to more local people and get my name as a company out their and create more relationships.

I figured what better way to do that then to do a small GIVEAWAY!

First let me explain my business, at Had A Way Service And Solutions we are a mobile repair business that specializes in forklifts, man lifts, floor scrubbers, floor sweepers, and hydraulics. We also perform maintenance on other forms of industrial equipment as well.

In the off time we also like to help the community with affordable rates on automotive (oil changes, brakes, batteries and small repairs) and small engine repair such as mowers and generators up to and including preventative maintenance and full rebuilds)

More about my self, I am a local (to Huntington and Andrews) and have been for most of my life. I have a beautiful wife, Alexis Hadaway, and 2 sons, Holden and Hayden! Who I hope to have take over this buisness one day if that's what they choose to do. I'm a Veteran and have been in the Maintenance line of work for over 12 years.

Another piece of municipal equipment back in service for the Town of Andrews.
We were called out for a hydraulic leak on a vac truck boom extension cylinder. Upon inspection, the dust seal was dry-rotted and failing, allowing contamination and fluid loss.
The cylinder was removed, torn down, resealed, and rebuilt, then reinstalled and tested. Once completed, the boom operated smoothly and the truck was returned to service with no leaks.
We understand how critical equipment uptime is for public works and municipal operations, and we take pride in providing reliable, on-site repairs that keep communities moving.

Recently, we completed several hydraulic repairs for local equipment, including work for the Town of Andrews and other lift operators in the area.

✔️ Town of Andrews – One-Man Bucket Lift
Completed a full reseal of the primary boom cylinder. The cylinder was torn down, inspected, resealed, and reinstalled to restore smooth and dependable operation.

✔️ Genie Boom Lift
Performed a steer cylinder reseal to correct a hydraulic leak that was affecting steering performance. Once repaired, the lift was tested and returned to service with proper steering response.

✔️ Axle Seal Repair
Addressed an axle leak caused by a broken stud, extracting the broken stud and resealing the axle to prevent future fluid loss.

We understand how important it is for public works and municipal equipment to stay operational. When something goes down, it affects the whole community! And that’s why we focus on doing the job right the first time.

It's been a while but that's a good thing because we have been busy! Everything from forklifts to pneumatic hose reels! We try not to turn down jobs! But if it's out of our realm we will always be up front and honest!

Clark Forklift Repair
Customer complaint was no brakes and hard steering. After diagnosis, we found a leaking wheel cylinder and a failed lip seal in the steer cylinder, which caused the power steering pump to run dry. Repairs were completed, systems refilled and tested, and the forklift is now back to proper braking and steering operation.

Hyster Forklift No-Start Repair
Called out for a no-start with grinding noise. Diagnosis revealed severely damaged flywheel teeth. We separated the engine and transmission, replaced the flywheel, and while everything was apart, advised the customer to replace the transmission input seal to prevent future leaks.
At the customer’s request, we also replaced a leaking valve cover gasket and thermostat gasket. Once reassembled, the lift fired right up and was returned to service quickly.

Pneumatic Hose reel repair
Clock spring was cracked and reel was no longer retracting. We repaired the spring as the customer wanted a quick repair with minimal cost. Reel is retracting as it should now and customer is happy.

From brakes and steering systems to engine, transmission, and drivetrain repairs, we handle it all mobile, on-site, and done right.

A customer called us out for a no-start/no-run issue on their Genie Z-60/34 boom lift running dual-fuel (LPG/Gasoline).

After a full inspection, we found the LPG regulator completely packed with tar, which was starving the engine of fuel. Got everything torn down, cleaned out, rebuilt, and the machine fired right up with zero issues.

While onsite, we also repaired a leaking hydraulic line feeding the primary boom cylinder to keep the lift operating safely and reliably.

Engine and Transmission Overhaul Completed

This forklift had excessive engine blowby, so we removed the old powerplant and replaced it with a new Perkins engine. We also pulled the transmission, resealed it, and installed a new oil pump to ensure long-term reliability and performance.

Another solid job completed and another piece of equipment ready to get back to work.

Excavator Deadlined

Got a call from a customer about their Kobelco SK 120 LC that wouldn’t crank or start. After sitting all summer, some rodents had chewed through the wiring harness, leaving the machine down.

I repaired the damaged harness, replaced a worn-out battery post terminal, tested everything, and got this excavator back up and running.

Another machine saved and another customer back to work!

Mobile Job Spotlight – Mitsubishi Forklift Repair in Bluffton, IN
No shop? No problem — I bring the shop to you.

I was called out to Bluffton to inspect a Mitsubishi forklift that was running rough. After diagnosing the issue, I found the carburetor had a clogged jet and was packed with dirt and debris. That’s all it took to throw off the idle and performance.

I disassembled the carb, cleaned out the gunk, and had the machine running again in no time. It’s back on the job — and so is the business that depends on it.
