We welcomed our interns to COLSA this week! 🤩 Their first day included a COLSA overview led by our executive team, orientation led by our HR team, a tour of our Headquarters, and of course, good food.

For the next two months, our interns will train with our Uncrewed Systems, Proposal, Business Intelligence, and Software Factory teams. This hands-on experience will not only help with their resumes and job search post-graduation, but it will help the COLSA team learn and grow from their contributions! It's a win-win. 🦾

We ended COLSA Space Month with a Space Panel featuring four of COLSA's subject matter experts:

✨Rob Harris, Senior VP, Space Solutions
✨Ted Henrich, VP, Systems & Software Engineering
✨Terry Jackson, Program Manager, NTSS
✨Mark Anderson, Space & Electronic Warfare Manager

The panel explored topics like how defense space is evolving, the future of space exploration, what it's like meeting and working with astronauts, and why they decided to pursue careers in space.

They also answered some questions from employees with topics like what unexpected skills have helped them in this industry, what movies are most realistic/unrealistic, and what planet/moon would they visit if they had the chance.

Thank you to our space panelists for taking the time to share with the rest of the COLSA team. Looking forward to Space Month 2027. 🚀
