Rogers Group had a large presence at the 25th Annual Octoberfest, held at the St. Florian Park and Walking Trail in Florence, Alabama. This marked the 7th year RGI has set up an interactive booth and served as an event t-shirt sponsor.

Throughout the festival, we hosted a community tent where attendees could stop by for giveaways, learn more about our company, and explore several pieces of equipment on display. Thanks to equipment provided by TEC and Cat, both kids and adults had the opportunity to get an up-close look at new machinery and take photos. Our team also handed out hard hats and candy to children, while adults received some RGI swag.

We enjoyed spending the weekend with community members and answering questions. Many of the spectators and participants travel the roads that we build and pave in North AL and Southern TN, and we received a lot of great comments on the work RGI is doing throughout the area.

Thank you to the Town of St. Florian, event organizers, volunteers, and everyone who stopped by our tent. Events like Oktoberfest provide a great opportunity to strengthen community connections and celebrate the people and traditions that make the Shoals area special.

Our team was pleased to participate in the Muscle Shoals Career Academy Career Fair on September 22, where students in grades 9-12 met with employers to learn about future career options.

During the event, Rogers Group representatives spoke with students about careers in the aggregates and construction materials industry, sharing insight into the skills, training, and experiences that support our operations. Students had the chance to ask questions, learn more about the industry, and explore potential career paths available close to home.

We appreciate Muscle Shoals Career Academy for hosting this event and helping connect students with local businesses and organizations. Rogers Group is proud to support and invest in the next generation of skilled professionals.

Rogers Group’s Port of Mobile Aggregate Resale Yard was pleased to donate a 55-inch television to Whitley Elementary School in Prichard, Alabama.

As part of our ongoing community involvement, Rogers Group partners with Whitley Elementary in a variety of ways to support its students, families, and staff. The donated television will serve as a door prize during the school’s parent-teacher conferences in October, with every parent in attendance registered for a chance to win.

We’ve been busy celebrating Trucker Appreciation Week at many of our locations throughout Rogers Group! While our appreciation extends throughout the year, this week gives us a special opportunity to recognize and thank the hardworking truck drivers who help keep our industry and communities moving every day.

From early mornings and long hauls to safely delivering load after load, their dedication, reliability, and commitment are truly valued. We appreciate every driver who comes through our gates and helps ensure materials get where they need to be.

We were proud to present the Franklin County Schools Anglers Team with a donation to help cover tournament entry fees, team jerseys, and travel expenses as they compete in the Bass Tactix of Alabama events for the 2026-2027 fishing season.

We wish these young anglers the best of luck on the water!

Rogers Group works on a $1.4 million project to improve intersection safety and efficiency on SR-24 at South Greenway Drive and West Morgan Road in Trinity.
The ATRIP-II project is funded by the Rebuild Alabama Act.
The project includes the addition of offset left-turn lanes on SR-24, construction of designated left turn lanes on South Greenway Drive and West Morgan Road, and traffic signal upgrades.
Engineering firm Garver, which is managing construction for the Town of Trinity, anticipates the improvements being substantially complete this fall, weather permitting.
