Dirty coils could lead to a clogged drain line, which could lead to an overflowing drain pan if you have a faulty safety switch. An overflowing drain pan can cause water damage and mold if not caught early enough. All of that can be prevented by keeping your coil and drain line clean!

THE IMPORTANCE OF A CLEAN HVAC SYSTEM:

HVAC- System efficiency: A clogged or dirty outdoor or indoor coil can cause your system to work harder than it should, resulting in a higher power bill.

Repair costs: Insects love to nest in your outdoor unit electrical panel. After so long, the insect itself or the debris it brings into your panel can damage components in that panel. Clogged coils can cause fan motors and compressors to overheat and stop working. A clean system can prevent these costly repairs.

Air quality: Indoor coils steadily condensate and accumulate dust. Neglecting a dirty evaporator coil can expose you to filthy air that can cause respiratory irritation. It can also cause blockage in your drain line, that can result in an overflowing drain pan if not equipped with a safety float switch.
