St. Mary’s Regional Cancer Center (SMMC) is now treating patients with the new CyberKnife® S7™ System, a fully robotic device that uses high doses of radiation to kill cancer cells and shrink tumors throughout the body. SMMC is the only facility in the Tri-State area and West Virginia with CyberKnife, which has been available at SMMC since 2007.

A non-surgical, non-invasive treatment, CyberKnife is able to treat tumors and lesions in the head, neck, spine, lung, pancreas, liver, kidney, pelvis, prostate and other areas as appropriate. Treatment is administered during an outpatient procedure in typically five or fewer sessions, compared to 40 treatments in traditional radiation therapy.

Exterior finishes are beginning to take shape on the New Outpatient Center at Cabell Huntington Hospital

Visitors to Cabell Huntington Hospital may have noticed some construction activity on site! A new, 75,000 square foot facility will house multiple services including physical therapy, physician offices, lab and imaging as well as Marshall Health's neurology and gastroenterology services and a state-of-the-art endoscopy suite.
We are proud to lead the design team for this project, which includes schaefer, Pickering Associates, and Triad Engineering, Inc. ETA's relationship with Cabell Huntington Hospital dates back to 2001, and we are honored to continue that partnership with this important project. Stay tuned for more progress updates!
