Almost 40 years ago, antique steel posts were recovered that were once used for the old train station in Newton, KS. They were repurposed to be used in the construction of the Reno County Farmer’s Market and the park structure in Newton for the train engine. These few that were left will soon be used as additional shade structures at the Kansas State Fair. These were made in the 1890’s and have a pretty cool look.
