Hutchinson Manufacturing is seeking CNC Machinists. We have opportunities on 1st Shift- 6 am to 2:45 pm- Monday through Friday or 2nd Shift, 2:30 pm to 1:15 am- Monday through Thursday. The hourly shift premium for 2nd Shift is $2.00.

We have tackled the complex, custom metal fabrication that other companies won’t touch, as well as large contract volume metal manufacturing. Our manufacturing space is located in Hutchinson, MN. We can perform virtually all metal, steel fabrication, machining, cladding, welding, finished processes, and assembly processes on site.

Primary Objectives:
Performs the most complex machining and fitting of all kinds of parts, tools, & machines in support of production or job shop machining without technical supervision.
Productivity:
Efficiently setups and operates without assistance the following machine tools: Manual lathes, Manual milling machines, precision grinding machines, horizontal boring mills, CNC lathes, CNC milling machines, and other miscellaneous equipment.
Designs, selects and sets up proper fixturing to hold parts.
Select and properly use cutting tools for manual and CNC operations.
Writes and updates CNC programs, perform CNC control offset and program changes. Able to download and upload CNC programs to off-line devices.
Able to identify, recommend and implement the proper machining process or changes to the process.
Education and Experience:
High school education or equivalent. 2 Year technical college diploma or equivalent work experience.
Previous experience with Toshiba CNC's
Knowledge and Skills:
Blueprint reading, inch, metric and geometric dimensioning and tolerance.
Able to solve mathematical or trigonometry problems.
Able to lift 50 # regularly.
Able to understand oral and written instructions.
