✈️ Public Notice – Runway Closure at Hutchinson Regional Airport

Hutchinson Regional Airport advises that the primary runway (13/31) is currently closed for coring and survey work.

The runway is expected to reopen late afternoon on March 27, barring any unforeseen complications.

During this time, the airport remains operational. Runways 17/35 and 4/22 remain open and available for aircraft use.

This work is part of ongoing efforts to maintain safe and reliable airport infrastructure.

N461HP closed so quick I didn’t have a chance to post this video.
Exactly two weeks of it being on the market with Hummingbird it’s sold. After multiple offers it went under contract Monday evening, PPI Tuesday and we ran out of time to close yesterday so we closed this morning. It was an absolute pleasure working with everyone involved. So long N461HP and enjoy warm Brazil 🇧🇷

Closing day! This pristine Mirage has a new owner!

Hummingbird Aircraft represented the seller by performing a pre-purchase inspection on a Meridian, detailing, hangaring, brokering N900MA and performing an annual inspection prior to it going to another shop for pre-purchase inspection. Meet Jeremy Crosby!
Joining Hummingbird Aircraft as Director of Maintenance in March 2025, Jeremy is a seasoned aviation professional with a comprehensive background spanning nearly 20 years. His expertise encompasses a wide range of aircraft, from PA46s and Air Tractors to T1A Jayhawks and Phenom/Challenger jets. A graduate of Spartan College with A&P certification (2008) and Inspection Authorization (2018), Jeremy’s experience includes roles at Airshare and a decade managing operations at Midwest Malibu Center. His career began in his hometown of Ulysses, working on agricultural aircraft, and includes a tenure at Vance Air Force Base as a T1A Jayhawk specialist. A private pilot since 2021, Jeremy’s dedication to aviation extends beyond the hangar.
