We design, fabricate, and install food processing equipment all over the world. Idaho Steel has been in business since 1918.

In that time we have learned that the people that work here are the companies greatest asset. Through the years custom craftsmen have built and installed state of the art processing equipment in food processing factories all over the world. It is not uncommon to find Idaho Steel equipment in operation manufactured in the 1960’s. This commitment to heavy duty solid manufacturing continues today in everything we do.

The employees of Idaho Steel once again showed what generosity and community truly look like. ❤️
Through our annual Christmas Project, our team donated funds that were generously matched by the company—allowing us to make an even greater impact.

This year, we were able to support two local families, participate in Tommy’s Food Drive, and even hit 777 on The Giving Machine! We were proud to answer the challenge from Brad Hall Company and join in the effort to Light the World.

We’d like to recognize Kyle Owens for the outstanding work he’s been doing on the shop floor.
Kyle has consistently stepped up to every task assigned by his team leaders. He approaches his work with focus, humility, and a commitment to quality—never cutting corners and never taking a back seat.
A major milestone worth celebrating: Kyle has successfully built his first piece of equipment. While it may be a smaller build, the confidence the team has in Kyle speaks volumes—he has recently been moved into T12, a group known for its exceptional skill and ability to build just about anything we can dream up. That kind of trust is earned.
Huge shoutout to Rick, David, Thayne, and Casey for their leadership and support in helping develop talent like Kyle.

✨ Lighting the World This Holiday Season ✨
At Idaho Steel, one of our favorite traditions is coming together as a team to support local families during the holidays. Each year, our employees donate generously, and the company matches those contributions dollar-for-dollar. It’s a tradition rooted in compassion, teamwork, and community.
This year, we’re continuing that tradition — and taking it one step further.
We are thrilled to join The Giving Machine project when it arrives in Idaho Falls on December 15th. Our goal?
🎯 Hit the 777 and buy out the machine!
Our team is already working to raise the funds to make this happen. At our Christmas Party last night, we shared a video about the project and ran a live poll so employees could help guide where our contributions will make the biggest impact. The excitement in the room was incredible — and we can’t wait to see what we achieve together.
