Understanding the nature of Complexes with Purine - A Quantum Chemical approach

Crystal structures of {[Cd(μ-ox) (H ade) (H2O)]. H2O}n, {[Cu(μ-ox) (3Meade) (H2O)].H2O}n and {[Cu(ox) (H2O)2(9Megua)].2.5H2O}n complexes are linked by bidentate oxalato ligands. Density functional theory calculation has been performed on the above complexes to investigate their electronic structures and to explore the stability of the monomer and complexes.
