Our latest project. We completely refurbished the outside of this cabin in Mt, Sterling. We had the solid stain cob blasted off then we added some roof and a big deck to the back. All new caulk and TWP stain to protect it. Solid stain on the deck floors and stairs.

We are looking to hire a couple of passionate, professional, ready to learn carpenters. Need both experienced and new to the trade. We build new homes, log homes, steel buildings, and do remodels for now. Must want to have fun and be professional, no complaining! Pay will be based on experience. Well it is official! We are now going to be an authorized builder for Federal Steel Systems. Contact us for all your steel building needs. We will be able to do residential/barndaminiums, ag, commercial, and industrial.

Set the last log today. 4 weeks and 5000LF of oak logs done. Now we move onto setting the 6”x11” oak main beams and the 6x6 oak 2nd floor beams.

Here are some pictures of the progress we are making on our Gastineau Oak Log Home. Hoping to be above all the windows by the end of the week. I am thinking about doing an open house at some point during the log setting if I have enough people interested in seeing how one of these goes together.
