1. Understand the basics of the thermoforming production process.
2. Conducts first level quality inspection of manufactured parts on an hourly basis to include snap of the clamshell, fl**ge size, material thickness, webbing, etc.
3. In the event of a quality issue, inform Quality Control and the Machine Operator so the proper adjustments can be made to correct the issue.
4. Construct corrugated boxes; separate, count, weigh, and pack proper quantities of thermoformed product into those boxes; prepare boxes for shipment to customers
5. Maintain cleanliness and organization around work area while machines are running, and when production lines are down, maintain the cleanliness of the work platform and the surrounding areas as needed.
6. Must exercise common sense, adhere to established policies and procedures, and troubleshoot process issues daily to assure proper packaging of quality products in a safe workplace.
7.. Maintains a good working relationship with machine operators, maintenance personnel, quality control, and management team, resolving issues as required.

Work will generally require the ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds. Standing, walking, and lifting are required to carry out everyday activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned)

Repair and maintain production thermoforming machines and all other equipment, along with general maintenance of the overall facility to include the following knowledge and skills:

Electricity up to and including 480 Volts (High Amps)
Hydraulic Valves, Cylinders, and Pumps
PLCs
Conduits
Welding (Arc, Gas, Acetylene)
HVAC
Carpentry
Chillers
Air Compressors
Vacuum Pumps
Riggings
Fork Trucks (Gas & Electric)
Machine Shop
Flow Controls
Plumbing
Read Blueprints & Schematics
Safety Rules & Regulations (i.e. Lockout/Tagout)
Ensures availability of spare parts needed in described repairs and preventive maintenance. Responsible for ordering and maintaining accurate inventory of said parts and supplies.

Maintains good housekeeping in tool storage and repair areas

Ensures accurate and timely record keeping related to machine maintenance

Train personnel on proper use and care of equipment as necessary

Candidate must have good mechanical skills with running Haas CNC Mills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned)
1. Prepare and operate CNC machine to perform tasks for production of thermoforming prototypes and tools.
2. Must be able to troubleshoot issues on equipment and understand tasks by reading blueprints and mechanical drawings.
3. Experience with G code programming and ability to optimize existing programs.
4. Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly.
5. Work closely with manufacturing and sales on changes to designs and tooling, ensuring the optimization of efficient and high-quality production parts.
6. Work with sales to ensure design requirements are met.
7. Provide regular status updates on timelines and deliverables.
COMPETENCIES
· Basic knowledge of the thermoforming process desired
· High Mechanical Aptitude
· Detail oriented possessing excellent communication and organizational skills
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
