UniFlow Polypro Trace Metal Fume Hoods are specifically designed for applications where, for accurate testing results, the fume hood must be constructed of non-metallic materials. Trace Metals Fume hoods are Ideal for water treatment, marine and soil sciences, environmental toxic analysis, and toxicology. The fume chamber and integral work surface are welded one-piece seamless of white polypropylene. The baffle is fabricated of the same white polypropylene, and the exterior is constructed of chemical and flame-resistant white composite resin. The hood is equipped with front horizontal sliding sashes, either tempered glass or polycarbonate, with four sash panels on two tracks, vapor-proof lighting, switches, and an exhaust collar. A wide selection of accessories and services are offered, including polypropylene cabinets to maintain the non-metallic requirement. The MicroFlow II is an ideal Class 1 ductless carbon-filtered workstation equipped with Activated Carbon filtration for fumes, odors, and non-hazardous chemical vapors. Completely self-contained with an integral recessed work surface to contain spills. A clear shroud surrounds the work area and includes a hinged viewing sash for user protection. Sash can be conformed for use with a microscope. Variable speed fan control allows for high speed 100f/m. airflow through the sash opening, or medium and low flow for sensitive operations. CleanAire II Ductless Hoods are designed to meet DH I requirements as defined by SEFA 9. This hood features a built-in carbon filtration system to adsorb non-toxic fumes and odors. The hood is equipped with an integral blower, vapor-proof light, fan, and light switches. CleanAire II Ductless Hoods are available in 24”, 30”, 35”, and 47” models. The hood superstructure is constructed of chemical and flame-resistant, non-metallic, composite resin with a molded one-piece seamless interior fume chamber. A vertical sliding clear acrylic sash protects the user and contains the process fumes. The carbon filter that is included adsorbs the fumes and then recirculates the air back to the laboratory. A wide selection of Specialty Fume Hoods meets the requirements for perchloric acid, acid digestion, trace metals, and radioisotope application. These hoods are constructed, depending on the application, of either type 316 stainless steel for perchloric acid, PVC for perchloric acid, HDPE for acid digestion, polypropylene for trace metals, and type 304 stainless steel for radioisotope procedures. All specialty hoods feature welded one-piece interiors, including the worksurface. Perchloric acid hoods would also have a welded-in rear drain trough for washdown. All Specialty Fume Hoods will have vapor-proof or explosion-proof lighting, front airfoil, rear baffle, and duct connection collars.
All specialty fume hoods will have a composite resin exterior that is chemical and flame-resistant. The fume hood features a double-wall construction with an angled picture frame opening with either double vertical side sashes or horizontal sliding glass doors. A removable upper front panel allows access to ducting connections and electrical services from a single-point electrical box, 115V60Hz AC operation. Specifically designed for isolating hazardous materials, the HAZMAX Containment Work Area is engineered to isolate applications including large equipment distillation procedures, pilot plant requirements, and sampling/ weighing/ dispensing operations.
The varaflow baffle system and by-pass inlets ensure protection from hazardous fumes to safely vent vapors, odors, and powders for maximum work safety. The ventilated work area is constructed of corrosion-resistant composite resin surface panels. Tempered glass horizontal sliding door panels provide convenient access to the work area. Vaporproof or explosion-proof lighting is provided.
A secondary containment basin, constructed of seamless composite polyresin, has coved corners and a sloped bottom to facilitate draining and cleaning of any accidental spillage.
