Specifically designed for isolating hazardous materials, the HAZMAX Containment Work Area is engineered to isolate applications including large equipment distillation procedures, pilot plant requirements, and sampling/ weighing/ dispensing operations.
The varaflow baffle system and by-pass inlets ensure protection from hazardous fumes to safely vent vapors, odors, and powders for maximum work safety. The ventilated work area is constructed of corrosion-resistant composite resin surface panels. Tempered glass horizontal sliding door panels provide convenient access to the work area. Vaporproof or explosion-proof lighting is provided.
A secondary containment basin, constructed of seamless composite polyresin, has coved corners and a sloped bottom to facilitate draining and cleaning of any accidental spillage. “CCS” Controlled Containment System Enclosures are engineered to safely contain and control airborne particulate during and from sampling procedures. Dispensing from drums and weighing procedures are typical applications. Drums or equipment can be easily rolled into the enclosure through the strip curtain entrance. Both the process and the surrounding environment are protected from contamination. A downward flow of HEPA-filtered air maintains a cleanliness level at drum or working height while all exhaust air exits through HEPA filters in the rear wall at floor level. The interior is under slight negative pressure to ensure no contaminant escapes from the enclosure.

Emergency Safety Showers are fully assembled and ready for installation to the water supply and waste systems. The shower is a one-piece, seamless molded chemical-resistant fiberglass unit. Softwall Clean Rooms are designed to meet ISO 5 – ISO 8 requirements and feature a flexible design that allows them to be located over and around equipment, with the option of being mobile with casters. The structural framework is of aircraft anodized aluminum with clear vinyl curtains around the unit. The curtains can be strips or solid, depending on restriction of access in clear or opaque white vinyl.
