This summer, Caden Udani is interning at our Frankfort office. When asked about his internship experience, Caden shared, “My summer internship here at Robinson Engineering has been a great experience of getting a glimpse of what it is like to be a civil engineer. Working in the Inflow and Infiltration department with a team of other interns and more experienced engineers helped further my ability to collaborate and enhanced my learning experience this summer. Through a hands-on approach in the field, manhole inspections and smoke testing sanitary sewer lines have taught me the value of maintaining a healthy sewer line and how defects can be discovered and fixed.”

This summer, Stevie McDonald is interning at our Frankfort office. When asked about his internship experience, Stevie shared, “I am currently going into my junior year at Howard University, and I was blessed with the opportunity of interning with Robinson Engineering during the summer of 2026. I was able to get a full and wide variety of a hands on experience by shadowing different engineers. I loved the experience and every employee at Robinson made me enjoy and have fun every second of it. I was able to get a better understanding of civil engineering and the different aspects that are involved within the field. I confidently say that I am more comfortable in pursuing this career and using what I learned with this experience to complete the rest of the years I have left in college.”

This summer, Liam O'Connor is interning at our Frankfort office in the I&I Department. When asked about his internship experience, Liam shared, “My internship experience at Robinson Engineering has been fascinating, especially as someone who is passionate about water systems and resources. Learning in the field taught me a lot about how our sewer system works; there’s a very complicated system of pipes right under our feet! As an environmental engineering major, I have found a lot of overlap between this internship and my classes. I am sure that Smoke Testing, Manhole inspections, and everything else on the way, will enrich my overall experience as a future engineer.”

This summer, Josh Aggen is interning at our Frankfort office. We are pleased to announce that Zachary Nelson, Civil Engineering student at the Illinois Institute of Technology and Tommy O’Brien, Civil Engineering student at the University of Kentucky were awarded Braselton & Brink Memorial Foundation engineering scholarships during an awards dinner held at Olympia Fields Country Club.

The foundation offers scholarships to full-time undergraduate students pursuing col­lege, university, or technical education primarily in the field of civil engineering who have completed at least 25 credit hours. The foundation has been assisting students seeking careers in civil engineering for over 40 years, awarding over 120 scholarships to undergraduate students since its inception.
