What do Dive Planes (canards) actually do?

The Verus Engineering Dive Plane (Canard) Kit adds front-end downforce without the necessity of moving the front splitter further forward. Dive planes, when designed properly, work to create vortices that extract high-pressure air from the wheel well of the car. This reduces lift.

This results in the aero balance being shifted forward slightly, which is a great way to balance our rear diffuser or perhaps add front-end downforce without needing to move the front splitter forward.

Does our G80/G82 Front Splitter block the oil coolers?

The G-Series M3 and M4 have oil coolers sitting just beneath the engine bay, so we mounted this splitter lower than most of our other front splitters. That leaves ram air a clear path in through the front grilles and out through the coolers.

You get front downforce to balance out a rear wing, and your coolers keep breathing on track. The splitter is made from carbon polyweave, so it won't crack like carbon fiber or ABS or bend like aluminum.

Our Front Splitter for the S550 GT350 is produced from carbon polyweave, which is the same material used in high-performance motorsports. The material is not brittle, so no more issues with cracking like carbon fiber and ABS. It will not grab and bend under the car like aluminum units either. The material is also lightweight and stiff, which makes it a great splitter material.

The air dam is used to bring the splitter flat with the vehicle's underbody and improve performance further. The air dam is produced from sheet aluminum and then powder-coated black for durability. Bringing our whole kit together in one cohesive performance package.

From concept to reality.

The UCW Rear Wing is our highest rear downforce offering for the GR86, designed for people who need a bump in rear downforce significantly greater than our High Efficiency Rear Wing.

The wing has the capability of operating and generating downforce from 0 to 15 degrees of angle of attack. This allows the wing to balance out a variety of front aerodynamic kits, such as our Front Splitter Kit. As part of our Ventus 3 aerodynamic kit, the rear wing combined with the front aero kit adds a significant amount of downforce to the car to help reduce lap times and increase corner speeds.

Our CFD data and our real-world experimental data match up quite well. The wing hit all the major goals we set forth to achieve, first in our CFD simulations and then with our real-world testing. The strong correlation between CFD data and real-world testing validates both our CFD analysis approach and the wing’s performance.
