Responsibilities:

• Prepare metal surfaces for painting using cleaning agents, hand grinders, buffers or other abrasive equipment as required.
• Operate forklifts in a safe manner to move material to different areas for processing or packaging as required.
• Package product using wrapping materials, and making crates for shipping
• Keep work area clean and adhere to good housekeeping in performance of job tasks.
• Assist with in other areas as needed.
Requirements:
• Ability to conduct self in a respectful and appropriate manner and to safely perform essential job tasks.
• Ability to produce quality product in an efficient and productive manner to meet customer project schedules.
• Ability to work in a heavy manufacturing environment requiring awkward stances and positions for periods of time throughout an 8 to 10-hour day.
• Ability to stand and walk for majority of 8 to 10-hour day, bend, climb ladders, lift product, equipment and tools up to 50 pounds throughout the day.
• Education: High school graduate or GED
Starting pay is $14 - $16 based on experience with evaluation in 90 days.

Responsible to prepare and paint all components, sub-assemblies or finished products that require painting.
Responsibilities:
Prepare metal surfaces for painting using cleaning agents, hand grinders, buffers or other abrasive equipment as required.
• Mix paint accurately and apply paint to materials as required.
• Clean equipment regularly and maintain paint equipment in good condition.
• Operate forklifts in a safe manner to move material in and out of paint booth as required.
• Keep work area clean and adhere to good housekeeping in performance of job tasks.
• Assist with manufacturing as needed.
Requirements:
• Must have knowledge regarding various paints and read directions to correctly mix paint.
• Ability to conduct self in a respectful and appropriate manner and to safely perform essential job tasks.
• Ability to produce quality product in an efficient and productive manner to meet customer project schedules.
• Ability to work in a heavy manufacturing environment requiring awkward stances and positions for periods of time throughout an 8 to 10-hour day.

Purchasing / Accounting Clerk
AP Awning Partners, LLC is looking for a Purchasing/Accounting Clerk to join our team. Excellent organizational skills and accuracy are important qualifications for this position, as well as good customer and vendor relations and the ability to communicate clearly. The ideal candidate for this position is a skilled multi-tasker, is reliable and is committed to consistently meeting deadlines. Comfortable working alone, but able to participate in group discussion as a member of the team.
This position will report to the Controller but be given purchasing requisitions and purchasing guidance from the Director of Operations.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Generate and submit purchase orders per purchase requisitions
• Maintain material pricing in manufacturing software
• Process material receipts
• Communicate order statuses with Director of Operations
• Request, document in MFG software, scan and file Vendor 1099s
• Process customer shipment documentation and provide packing slips
• Credit card reconciliation
• Prepare AIA Billing documents for completed jobs
• Scan and file Customer Certificates of Insurance
• Scan accounting records
• Back up Billing and Accounts Receivable when on vacation
• Other tasks as needed
Qualifications:
The qualified candidate should have an Associates Degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience of at least 2 years.
• Must have excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Excellent organizational skills and strict attention to detail and accuracy
• The ability to multi-task and manage time
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
• Familiarity with the manufacturing process preferred
• Experience with QuickBooks Desktop a must
• Knowledge of Airtable a plus
• Must be willing to submit to background check and drug test

Must be willing to submit to random drug tests and a background check!
