The Puppies of Paoli are returning to the 2026 Accelerate Indiana Municipalities (AIM) Ideas Summit in French Lick, September 29th through October 1st!

This year, HWC has partnered with PlayPros INKY to bring an exciting new addition: a dog park! Stop by for some puppy cuddles, meet adoptable pups, and provide much needed support to the OrangeCounty HumaneSociety. Who knows... you may even find your newest family member.

On Saturday, August 8th, HWC staff and their families from across all our offices came together at the Indianapolis Zoo for HWC's Zoo Day!

Guests enjoyed a fun-filled day of connection and celebration, complete with great food and beverages, live music, face painting, and close-up animal encounters with a sloth and a parrot. The evening concluded with an exclusive private dolphin show, making for a truly memorable experience for everyone in attendance.

On August 5th, HWC joined One Dearborn Economic Development to celebrate the groundbreaking of its first Stellar Pathways project, the North Dearborn Village Apartments. This important development will bring 11 much-needed senior housing units to rural Dearborn County, expanding housing opportunities for local residents.

HWC proudly led the Stellar Pathways application and continues to provide program management support throughout the Stellar initiative. Congratulations to One Dearborn, Inc., LifeTime Resources, Inc. (Owner), and Maxwell Construction (Contractor) on reaching this exciting milestone.
