Kenny's journey at Compass is the ultimate story of homegrown talent. After completing four consecutive internships with us starting in 2021, Kenny joined the team full-time in 2025 as Project Engineer in our Preconstruction department. From detailed take-offs and site condition research to value engineering and partnering with our trade teams, Kenny plays a critical role in delivering accurate, competitive, and transparent estimates for our clients.

Fifteen years ago in 2011, Compass made its very first hire, and we’ve been growing, innovating, and building together ever since. Today, we are thrilled to celebrate a massive milestone with Drew Poston, our Vice President of Business Development!

As our inaugural team member, Drew has been instrumental in shaping the trajectory, growth, and achievements of Compass over the last decade and a half. He ensures our team consistently addresses the real needs of our clients while uncovering strategic ways to add value at every phase of a project.

Beyond business development, Drew leads our marketing strategy and brand development, helping define the story, identity, and standard of excellence that Compass represents today.

Big things underway in Plainfield!

We’re excited to officially break ground and look forward to working alongside all project partners to bring this world-class building to life!

Tuesday, Town of Plainfield leaders joined Boston Scientific, state and local officials, and community partners to celebrate the groundbreaking of Boston Scientific’s new global medical device distribution facility at Plainfield Innovation Park.

The approximate $138 million investment will bring a state-of-the-art, 500,000-square-foot facility to Plainfield and create up to 300 new, high-wage jobs. Once complete, the facility will support Boston Scientific’s U.S.-based distribution and logistics operations and help deliver innovative medical solutions to patients around the world.

Tuesday’s groundbreaking represents more than a new building, it is a reflection of the vision and planning behind Plainfield’s south of I-70 innovation corridor. Through strategic investments in infrastructure, connectivity, quality of place, parks, and community amenities, Plainfield continues to create an environment where businesses, talent, and families can thrive.

We are grateful to Boston Scientific for choosing Plainfield and excited to welcome the company as part of our growing business community. We look forward to seeing this project take shape and celebrating the opportunities it will bring.

Great builds start with great partnerships, and we look forward to working alongside Ambrose Property Group, ATA Architects, and Lake City Bank to bring this high-performance, ±398,000 SF development to life.

Today we celebrated our summer interns with lunch and a little friendly competition at the bowling alley. It was a great opportunity to recognize the hard work, curiosity, and enthusiasm they've brought to the team throughout the summer.
