In our NS04 Deflector Nozzles video, Jeff Hale reviews this nozzle series that comes in a variety of deflector sizes (16, 24, 32 and 50mm) each offering a different pattern size. The diameter of pattern depends on selected deflector nozzle.

Are operators increasing powder flow to achieve desired coverage?

Better Electrostatic Attraction and Adhesion are key indicators of how well a powder coating process is optimized. When you struggle with poor powder wrap, light coverage on edges or corners, recessed areas not coating well, powder falling off before cure, and inconsistent film build, the issue may be tied to poor electrostatic attraction and spray cloud control.

What a great few days at the The Powder Coating Institute Business Growth Summit at The Higgins Hotel in New Orleans! Two days of sharp speakers and candid panel discussions on what it takes to lead, grow, and compete in today's powder coating industry. It all capped off with a memorable Hall of Fame Banquet at The National WWII Museum.
Gema was proud to be a Summit Partner Sponsor of this year's event, and proud to have our own Jeff Hale moderating both panel sessions. Jeff Hale, Claudio Merengo, Mike Thies, Shawn Hayes and Karen Walters represented the Gema team. Thank you to the Powder Coating Institute for bringing the business side of our industry together. It was wonderful catching up with so many familiar faces.
