Every once in a while, a lens design shows up that makes you stop and say, “Okay… that’s different.”

CamberPure from IOT Lenses is one of those.

Instead of only tuning corridors and zones, CamberPure also mathematically targets different wavelengths of light, effectively improving Abbe value and reducing chromatic aberration—one of the hidden drivers of reduced clarity and contrast. Many wearers notice chromatic aberration as blur, halos, or color fringing.

Laramy-K Optical has the honor of being the first lab to offer CamberPure, and I’m excited to get it in the hands of independent opticians and optometrists who care about the details.

So far, we have 2 polycarbonate-sensitive wearers in the lab who now experience crisper and clearer vision in POLY CamberPure than in other designs made in Trivex and 1.60.

While we used poly as an obvious test case, CamberPure provides, on average, a 20% improvement in effective Abbe value across ALL lens materials.
