Limited space in your measurement setup, small structures, and still need advanced vibration analysis?
That’s exactly what the new VibroOne+ was designed for. This compact Laser Doppler Vibrometer provides non-contact vibration measurements up to 3 MHz and integrates the complete signal chain into a single unit.

Whether you’re measuring microstructures and electronics, biomedical samples, or working on a test bench, the integrated reference channel and signal generator let you capture complete frequency response functions (FRFs), including phase information, without separate devices for reference measurements and signal generation. That means less hardware and cabling in your measurement setup. An optional HD+ camera and microscope objectives help you precisely position the measurement point even on the smallest structures.

How can low-cost wireless sensors deliver reliable bridge displacement data under real train traffic?

Great work by Prof. Fernando Moreu and his research team at the The University of New Mexico, working with the New Mexico Rail Runner Express, on the development and field validation of LEWIS 7—a self-powered wireless sensor designed for railroad bridge monitoring

A RSV-150 laser Doppler vibrometer, predecessor to today’s VibroFlex Range, served as the independent reference measurement system during laboratory testing and live train crossings, helping validate displacement measurements and the bridge’s low-frequency dynamic response.

It is a great example of how accurate non-contact measurement can help validate new, scalable approaches to structural health monitoring.

Congratulations, Fernando and team!

How can you extend the capabilities of your VibroScan into the microscopic range—without investing in a separate measurement system?
From large structures to the smallest details, the new microscope extension enables you to use VibroScan for both. Analyze vibrations under the microscope while relying on the same proven platform for applications across the macro- and microscale.

See how it works in the full product video on YouTube, including the applications made possible by the microscope extension:

Designed for use with Polytec scanning vibrometers, the SAM Modal Hammer provides precise, repeatable impact excitation without mass-loading the test object. This makes it ideal for experimental modal analysis, structural dynamics testing, and applications where consistent excitation quality is critical.

Key advantages include:
▫️ Repeatable excitation and NO double hits
▫️ Precise force level control for structural linearity checks
▫️ Reproducible impact position and angle
▫️ Force levels from 1 N up to 22 kN
▫️ Bandwidth above 40 kHz for lightweight structures

Most of us cross bridges every day without giving them much thought.
We trust that they are safe, reliable, and ready to carry us again tomorrow. But many bridges and infrastructure assets are now exposed to loads far beyond what they were originally designed to handle. That makes continuous structural monitoring more important than ever.

Modern monitoring solutions help detect changes early, provide deeper insight into structural behavior, and support informed decisions for maintenance, safety, and long-term operation.

With high-resolution measurement technology for strain analysis, Polytec helps capture even the smallest changes in civil structures. Fiber optic sensors provide valuable data about what is happening inside the concrete, where visual inspection alone cannot reach.

Because structures send signals—measure what matters.

In today’s production environments, EOL testing must be as agile as the line itself. This session explores why Laser Doppler Vibrometry (LDV) is no longer a premium option—but a critical enabler for modern quality assurance.

What you will learn:
✔ The LDV advantage—how non-contact measurement outperforms accelerometers in accuracy, bandwidth, and setup time
✔ Efficiency through automation—integrating vibrometry into streamlined, high-throughput workflows
✔ The power of synergy—combining high-fidelity Polytec data with Signalysis pass/fail algorithms for instant decisions
✔ Quantifying ROI—reducing cycle times, eliminating manual handling, and improving overall test efficiency

If you are looking to remove bottlenecks, improve data integrity, and scale your production testing, this webinar will provide practical insights you can apply right away.

Because better data leads to better decisions—measure what matters.

Many teams know the advantages of optical roughness measurement—yet tactile systems still dominate the shop floor.
Why?
Because switching has often required a higher investment and added complexity.

That is exactly what we set out to change.

With the new Roughness Tester, we offer a compact entry-level solution based on Micro.View, currently available with up to 30% discount. The system is designed with a focus on the essential functions for reliable 3D roughness and texture analysis, without compromising measurement quality:

• Same high-precision sensor head as Micro.View
• ISO 25178 compliant (Sa, Sq, Sz)
• Non-contact: no wear, no surface influence
• Manual or semi-automated operation: easy to use
