Hello, friends!🙂 My name is Jesus Gastelum, and I’m the founder of TXSAFETY.
I’ve worked in the construction industry for the last 19 years.
I didn’t start in an office. I started as an eager kid who only knew how to run a shovel.
I started in the mud, the trenches, and on the equipment. I know what it’s like to work long hours, work in the Texas heat, chase production, and do whatever it takes to get the job done. I also know what it’s like to be injured on the job.
About 12 years ago, I found my calling as a Safety Professional.
Since then, I’ve had the privilege of helping protect thousands of construction workers throughout Texas. I’ve investigated serious incidents, comforted injured workers and their families, stood beside company owners during some of their hardest days, and celebrated teams that made it home safely every single night.
Those experiences taught me that every incident affects more than one person. It affects families, coworkers, businesses, and entire communities.
That’s why I started TXSAFETY.
Our mission is to help companies build a culture where people genuinely look out for one another. Because when leadership demonstrates that it truly cares about its employees, those employees respond with trust, ownership, and pride.
