We are looking for multiple welder/fabricators.

Will be working on heavy equipment repairs, tractor/trailer repairs, pipe welding in the field, custom fabrication in the shop.

Need to have tools. We will provide the truck, machine and all the consumables.

Looking for a long term hire. We work 55+ hours a week and need someone willing to work the hours.

SYB is looking to hire an Accountant / CPA in a full-time position.
Our current CPA is looking to retire. Our goal is to find someone to fill this role and train under our current CPA through the end of 2026 to ensure an easy transition.

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant / CPA to oversee the Company’s financial records and general ledger and play a key role in maintaining accurate, GAAP-compliant financial reporting. This individual will work closely with in-house staff to manage the monthly close out process, prepare quarterly financial statements, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations. This position will also be responsible for the smaller subsidiary companies of SYB.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in utility construction cost accounting and a deep understanding of the nuances of construction GAAP reporting. This position would be a great for someone who has been in public accounting and is ready to come into a private company as an in-house accountant/CPA.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee and maintain the Company’s financial records and general ledger
Lead the monthly close process, including necessary journal entries and adjustments
Prepare quarterly GAAP-basis financial statements
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
Prepare and file quarterly and annual payroll reports
Prepare W-2s, 1099s, 1095s
Manage sales and use tax filings
Prepare fuel tax reports and PCOR reports
Update depreciation schedules quarterly
Maintain subsidiary schedules and ensure reconciliation to the general ledger monthly and quarterly
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate job costing and cost allocation
Support reviewed financials and tax preparation processes
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required
CPA preferred, or actively pursuing CPA certification
Strong background in utility construction cost accounting
Experience with construction GAAP reporting
Public accounting experience in tax and/or audit is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
Experience with job costing software is a plus
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities

Snider Plaza - University Park

We have completed our Snider Plaza beautification project in the City Of University Park. Our goal was to only interrupt one holiday season and because of the hard work and dedication from all SYB employees involved in this project, we reached that goal.
