Here at afro engineering we believe everything can be repurposed. We were thinking about buying one of these lower braces for our daily driver Honda civic, basically so we would have an easy way to lift the rear of the car with a floor jack and maybe stiffen up the chassis a bit. The problem is this brace costs at least $80, which is way too much for our broke asses. So after rummaging around in our scrap pile we found an old solid iron fence post. Here it is welded in, it cost us almost nothing and is more durable than the cheap aluminum one we would have purchased. Afro engineering at its finest!
