The presentation examines two Deep Energy Retrofit projects at Syracuse University's South Campus. The presentation team will detail lessons learned, key technical and procedural adaptations from the projects, and discuss high impact areas for improvement to advance the Deep Energy Retrofit process.

This week’s article from Passive House Accelerator focuses on Syracuse Bread Factory, an adaptive reuse project in Syracuse’s Near Eastside.

Read about Taitem's design of the integrated ground source heat pump system (GSHP) for domestic hot water (DHW), heating and cooling, and ventilation. The closed loop system serves both commercial and residential spaces and provides opportunities to use excess energy in efficient and novel ways.
