It's with much sadness that the K & A family shares the passing of Merritt Williamson. Merritt has been with us for 24 years and was exceptional at his craft, as a Production Supervisor. His work ethic and talent for CNC precision machining was second to none and will never be forgotten. Please keep the Williamson family and everyone who knew and cared for him, close in your thoughts and prayers. We were truly fortunate to know you, Merritt. You will be missed and we give you our utmost gratitude for all of your dedicated years of service. We wish you, eternal peace.

Please join K & A Machine as we congratulate Conner Lovely on his graduation from Northwest High School! Conner is a member of our K & A team, working in Production during summer and school breaks.

Conner is the son of Brian (Q.A. Mgr. at K & A) and Tammy Lovely of Jackson. He is the youngest of three brothers: Tyler, Brent and Keith Lovely.

Conner was on the NW bowling team from his Freshman through his Senior year and during this last Varsity season, he represented not only the Mountie Nation but our state by competing at Nationals!

Furthering his education, Conner will be pursing a degree in Information Systems at Davenport University in Grand Rapids on an athletic scholarship where he will be a member of their bowling team! In his spare time, he enjoys playing video games and of course, bowling on a summer league.

Well done, Conner! Best wishes to you in all your future endeavors!

K & A Machine would like to congratulate Lillian Heydenburg on her graduation from Western High School. Lilly works part-time at K & A and is the daughter of Chris and Melissa Heydenburg (Production Mgr. at K & A) of Parma where she resides with siblings Sophia and Samuel.

While at WHS, Lilly achieved a GPA of 4.0, which earned her a spot in the Top 10 for Academics. She also has been a State qualifier in Cross Country, Gymnastics and Track & Field and most recently was named as one of Western’s Athlete of the Year.

Lilly will be attending the University of Michigan in the fall, majoring in Pre-Med. GO BLUE! Her other interests include reading and volunteering at her church.

We would like to wish a very happy and well-deserved retirement to Bob Crum who has worked at K & A as both a quality technician and machinist for 19 years. K & A Machine is currently hiring for a 1st shift Quality Technician. We are an AS9100 certified manufacturer. 2 years experience in related field preferred (Quality, Machining, Layout, CAD). CMM and GD&T experience a plus. Current shift: 6:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday thru Thursday, 6:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Fridays. On Wednesday, October 26, the Job Creators Network (JCN) will continue its Great Opportunity Project bus tour in Jackson, Michigan. Rep. Tim Walberg will attend the event and be presented with JCN's "Defender of Small Business" award. Covering multiple states this month, the Great Opportunity Project bus tour consists of events with Members of Congress and local small business leaders and is part of the JCN's seven figure Great Opportunity Project campaign.
