This morning, Elizabeth had the opportunity to speak with the incredible young adults attending the Nebraska Agricultural Youth Institute (NAYI) in Lincoln. This marks her fourth year presenting at NAYI, and each year it's inspiring to see the enthusiasm and passion the students have for agriculture.

NAYI is a week-long summer program that gives high school students a firsthand look at the many career opportunities within Nebraska's agriculture industry while helping them build leadership skills and lifelong connections.

The future of our industry is in great hands!

Operating in 4-man crews, these guys keep our facility running 24/7 – nights, weekends, holidays. Their commitment to safety has played a major role in achieving 1,958 days with no lost-time accidents on site. At Siouxland Ethanol, working safely is always the top priority, and our production team leads by example every day.

We’re proud to join the Nebraska Farm Bureau to celebrate National Ag Week for the second year. This year’s theme says it best: “Agriculture Drives, Nebraska Thrives!”

This week is all about recognizing farmers and agriculture professionals who work hard every day to keep our communities strong, our tables full, and our vehicles moving with ethanol!

In 2025, our Commodities team purchased 33.4 million bushels of corn from local farmers — a result of the hard work happening right here in our region.

This week Elizabeth attended the National Ethanol Conference in Orlando, Florida, joining ethanol industry leaders from across the country to learn, share ideas, and build connections in the ethanol community.

One highlight was an early morning panel featuring Patrice Banks, founder of Girls Auto Clinic Repair Center, whose passion for empowering women through vehicle education — and explaining how E15 benefits both drivers’ wallets and the environment — really stood out.

She also listened to the exciting advancements being made in the maritime industry, learned more about the continued push to unleash E15 across the country, and attempted to keep up while the experts unpacked the details of 45Z!
