The K-25 Interpretive Center has been named the 2026 Metal Architecture Design Award winner in the Insulated Metal Panels category!

This recognition celebrates the thoughtful design, craftsmanship, and collaboration that brought this historic project to life. While the vision was led by the design team at Smee + Busby Architects, Geiger Brothers was proud to serve as the contractor, working alongside the project team to help deliver a facility that honors the legacy and significance of the K-25 site.

From the industrial-inspired aesthetic to the purposeful use of metal throughout the building, this project showcases what can be accomplished through strong partnerships and a shared commitment to quality.
