🚧POND EXPANSION and WATERSHED CONTROL

Our customer asked us to clean out their existing pond, increase the pond wall and construct a watershed / runoff spillway. No problem! Really, who doesn't like to play with heavy equipment in the mud?

The Blackwell Excavating crew was able to dig right in, moving dirt to increase the retention area of the existing pond, creating a larger pond wall both in height and thickness.

Pour a watershed spillway? Not a problem. Some dirt work, some concrete forms and rebar, some concrete and there you have it.

✅Drainage - Needed to be able to push water away from the structures and prevent erosion
✅Dirt work - Prep the site for a concrete parking slab, tying in the existing front porch, a foundation apron around the side of the house, and pour a concrete walkway to the boat dock
✅Driveway - Raise and level. bring in milled asphalt for a hard pack surface

Well, not any longer. Blackwell Excavating just finished reworking this driveway, leveling it and cutting a clearing just before the garage pad.

The drive is made with oil sand. A blade mixed base of sand and oil.
