Jacksonville Bolt & Screw began in the converted garage of David and Mary Anne Baker in 1973. They had the vision, desire, and determination to begin the journey that is now A-Jax Company Inc. In the early days,t was truly a family business. The "staff" consisted of their three daughters, Michele, Melissa, and Maria and David's Brother Bob as Business Consultant, shoulder to cry on, and #1 Cheerleader. Over the past 38 years many things have changed but one thing has remained the same, the company's unwavering demand for honesty and integrity. We believe that if you conduct yourself with those two key elements, all the other things will fall into place.
