Today, at the May monthly luncheon we had Wyatt’s dream reveal. Wyatt and his family will be traveling on a Disney Cruise to fulfill his dream all handled by Dreams Come True of Jacksonville, Inc.This would not be possible without the yearly holiday trees and donations at the Jacksonville International Airport!

Today, was a great day for some golf! We had a sold out course with proceeds benefitting the Wounded Warrior Project!

JIAMC, Council Chairman Scott Forshey-Friedman also presented our golf co-chair David Dunkley with a momento as he wraps up his duties and retires after 20+ years as a member of the council and with JAA.

A special thank you to all our sponsors, players and those that volunteered to make this event a success.

We are getting excited for the 2026 JIAMC Chris Forner Invitational. Shotgun start 8:30am, Friday April 17th at Blue Sky Golf Club!

We have a full course and the tournament will benefit Wounded Warrior Project!

Happy Holidays, it’s again time to vote on your favorite decorated tree here in Jacksonville!

This year we have 32 organizations that are participating. Thank you to the Jacksonville Aviation Authority for allowing this yearly tradition to continue. As a reminder, there is 2 ways to get involved:

1. Vote, each vote is $1.00 you can vote in person by visiting the trees in the main concourse at JIA or online by visiting Christmas Trees Contest - Jiamc- and use the secure PayPal method. When voting online please note the company or tree numbers. The tree with the highest amount raised wins for best fundraiser.
2. Share and like-the tree that has the most likes on Facebook wins the “popular” like contest. You must share the original post and it goes off the main and original posted photo here.

As a reminder, 100% of the proceeds
go to Dreams Come True of Jacksonville, Inc. to fulfill local dreams of children right here in our community.

Hello Council members and friends -

I received news a short time ago that long-time member Art Wazkowski passed away this morning. Art worked with us at JAA for many years before "retiring" and going to work with AVCON. He was a vibrant part of the council for many years until recently, when his health took a turn for the worse.

On behalf of Chair Scott Forshey-Friedman, Vice Chair Scott Harbin and Treasurer Christina McLaughlin, we are glad for all the years he spent with us and we will miss him!

It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of our long time member and friend Sam Breen.
