Power Solutions Unlimited, Inc. in Jasper, GA, is hiring an experienced outside sales professional to sell residential and commercial standby generators within a 100-mile radius of Jasper.

This full-time position includes selling air-cooled and liquid-cooled generator systems, following up on company-provided leads, and developing new customers.

PAY AND BENEFITS
• Base pay plus commission, with the potential for a strong salesperson to earn $120,000+ annually based on sales performance.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Outside sales experience required
• Generator experience preferred, but not required. We will train the right person.

NORTH GEORGIA STORM UPDATE FROM PSU
Friday, October 9 | 11:20 a.m.

Hurricane Isaias is expected to bring damaging winds and heavy rain to North Georgia this weekend. The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Warning for Pickens County and much of our service area from midnight tonight through 8 a.m. Sunday.

Wind gusts could reach 50 mph, with stronger gusts in the higher elevations. Rainfall of 2–3 inches, locally up to 5 inches, could cause flash flooding. Widespread power outages are expected from downed trees and power lines.

The greatest local impacts are expected overnight tonight through Saturday night, with conditions improving Sunday. Some outages could last beyond the storm.

Take time today to prepare:

• Check that your standby generator is in AUTO and review any fault messages.
• Check your propane supply if your generator uses propane.
• Keep generator vents clear of leaves and debris.
• Charge phones and have flashlights ready.
• Run portable generators outdoors, at least 20 feet from doors, windows and vents. Never operate one in a garage or connect it through a wall outlet.
