⚠️ Planned Power Outage Notice ⚠️

On Friday, June 5th at 8:30 a.m., we will be having a planned outage affecting 25 consumers in the Brookstone subdivision. The outage will last between 30 and 60 minutes. We will be performing a repair to a transformer that can only be done safely by de-energizing a portion of that line.

Consumers to be affected reside on Evergreen Drive. and Savannah Drive.

There is a potential for severe storms this Monday evening through Tuesday mornings. Now is the time to prepare. Charge your cell phones so you can monitor conditions if your power goes out. Prepare your provisions (flashlights etc.) As always, if you can monitor outages on the Dubois REC website or on the Smarthub app. Our crews are prepared and standing by in the need arises.

📢 Notice to Members – Pole Inspections Underway

Alpha Utility Services will begin pole inspections for Dubois REC starting Monday, April 20th.

Crews will be working for several months in:

Crawford County: Patoka, Johnson & Union Townships
Dubois County: Patoka, Jackson, Marion, Hall & Jefferson Townships

This process includes:

Digging around the base of poles to inspect below ground level
Drilling into poles to check internal integrity

These inspections are a vital part of our preventative maintenance program and help ensure our electric distribution system remains safe and reliable.
