We recently took on a complex turnaround project at a Midwest facility that had long accepted underperforming machinery. Not only was the regional market highly competitive, but the site had traditionally relied strictly on the OEM.

Dr. Brun is a globally recognized energy systems expert with extensive experience advising US government agencies, Congress, and leading international companies. Throughout his distinguished career, he has held key roles at Southwest Research Institute, Solar Turbines, General Electric, and Alstom, contributing to the advancement of turbomachinery and energy technologies.

With over 400 published papers, seven textbooks, and fifteen patents, Dr. Brun has made significant contributions to the global energy and turbomachinery community. He is a Fellow of ASME and has received numerous prestigious recognitions, including the R&D 100 Award and the ASME Industrial Gas Turbine Award.

Dr. Brun has also chaired major international conferences and served on numerous boards and technical committees within ASME and other leading organizations. His extensive technical expertise and industry leadership will bring valuable perspectives on the role of turbomachinery in shaping modern, efficient, and reliable energy systems.

This advanced technology is designed specifically for liquefied natural gas (LNG) operations. By pairing Doosan’s cutting-edge frame gas turbine technology with EEE’s legendary expertise in LNG turbomachinery, this strategic partnership aims to deliver ultra-efficient compression solutions to meet growing global energy demands. While joint engineering alignment and market development begin immediately, commercial readiness for the specialized turbine framework is targeted for early 2028.

We are thrilled to announce we have been named a finalist for Midstream Energy Project of the Year at the 2026 Gulf Energy Excellence Awards! 🏆

Our landmark 100MW Power Upgrade and Electrification Initiative at our Jeannette, Pa HQ quintupled our testing capability. As midstream and LNG operators shift toward large electric drives, this facility gives our customers total operational certainty before field installation.
