Mark your calendars for our upcoming Household Hazardous Waste events!!!!

Save the Date! Safely dispose of chemicals in your home at the 2026 Regional Household Hazardous Materials Collection Event on Saturday, September 12, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Residents of St. Charles Parish and St. John the Baptist Parish can use either collection site:
-Edward A. Dufresne Community Center – Luling
-St. John Community Center – LaPlace

Bring items like old solvents, pesticides, batteries, cleaning chemicals and other household hazardous waste for safe disposal. More information, including a complete list of accepted and prohibited items, is available at: www.stcharlesparish.gov/HHW2026.

Happy 4th of July from Legacy Environmental!

As we celebrate America’s independence, we’re proud to recognize our team’s role in supporting the Sail 250 New Orleans event — a historic celebration honoring our nation’s 250th anniversary.

Legacy Environmental was honored to handle waste and disposal services for several vessels involved in the event, including the 844-foot aircraft carrier USS Kearsarge. Supporting an event of this scale takes planning, coordination, and a team committed to getting the job done safely and professionally.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to help keep our city clean, support our community, and play a small part in celebrating America’s history right here in New Orleans.
