Attendance at the club has been light lately, and we find ourselves behind schedule getting ready to welcome you back into the clubroom.

For this reason we will not be having an open house in August.

Our next time we will be having our open house will be the day of our show, September 26th.

Visitors are always welcome to the Club Room on Thursday nights between 6.30 and 8.30 PM. Feel free to pop by.

The Most Fun you can Have with a Can of Peas Returns!

The Southern Indiana Railroad will be holding it's annual Train Show and Swap meet, Saturday September 26th.

Swap meet will take place from 10 am to 2 PM.

Layouts will be open for viewing/playing trains from 10 am to 3 pm
Multiple Layouts Running

We have tables left, so if you are interested in joining our growing swap meet/sale, you best secure your tables now. 15$ for an 8 ft table, what a deal! Admission for people to enter the show is a donation to the food bank (canned or dry good, or cash).

Sorry folks!

Being at La Grange railfest last month has taken a toll on our little band of mighty warriors. We are using June and July to refocus on what our Second Saturday Open house experience looks like.

We are looking to break back into open houses with a bang in August. We are planning on open operating sessions at most of our open houses, along with our traveling layout being up and accessible for those who wish run in circles.

We are very much looking forward to once again being able to put a throttle in your hand so you can play trains with us.

In the meantime, please feel free to drop in on a Thursday evening between 6.30 or so and 8.30 pm...we would be more then happy to show you around.

Division 8 at La Grange Rail Fest 2026!
Saturday, May 9 • 9 AM – 5 PM • City Place Pavilion One

Join NMRA - National Model Railroad Association Division 8 as part of the La Grange Rail Fest, a weekend‑long celebration of the city’s rich railroad heritage and the famous trains that roll right down Main Street!

Step inside City Place Pavilion One for a full day of model train displays, hands‑on activities, and family fun — all part of the Rail Fest excitement happening throughout downtown La Grange.

City Place Pavilion One is located at S 2nd Ave & W Washington St. Look for the train show signs!
