Our current customers include the Honda Group (HAM, HCM, HMA, HMIN, HSC), Univance Inc., PK USA, Akebono Brake, Ohashi Technica and NSK Corporation. s one location. TFO Corporation is TFO Tech’s parent company. The initials “TFO” stand for Tokyo, Fukushima and Ohio. TFO Corp was founded in Tokyo in 1930 by Mr. Gihei Murayama. TFO Corp’s current board chairman is Katsumasa Toya. Originally, TFO Corp’s forging operations included razor blades, aircraft and railroad component product lines. TFO Corp’s relationship with the automotive industry began in the 1950’s. The company now specializes in automotive component forgings. In 1974, TFO Corp expanded its operations with the opening of a new facility in Yabuki-Machi, which is about 100 miles north of Tokyo. TFO also operates in Thailand and the Kumamoto plant. TFO Corp is now one of the most highly regarded forging operations in the world. TFO Tech was founded on June 6th, 1988. The official groundbreaking ceremony was held on September 15, 1988. TFO Tech currently employs approximately 160 associates and has a production capacity of 5000 metric tons per month. TFO Corp is especially proud of its dedicated personnel. TFO Corp provides TFO Tech with the technology, training and financial support to assist TFO Tech in further establishing itself as a world leader in the forging industry. TFO Tech’s goals are safety, quality and high efficiency. It is with these foundations in mind that we, the associates of TFO Tech, look forward to excelling in this new century with goals of continued personnel and corporate growth.

3rd shift!! The majority of counties in Ohio are at a level 1 or level 2. We will be starting production tonight on 3rd shift. You will need to come to TFO for your previously scheduled start time tonight. We will follow the level 2 policy, take your time so everyone can arrive safely.

TFO will continue to remain closed, 2nd shift for today (1/26/26) has been canceled.

Due to the current road conditions without much hope of improvement overnight, TFO is canceling 3rd shift tonight (1/25/26) and 1st shift for tomorrow (1/26/26). We will keep an eye on the road conditions and make a decision for 2nd shift, by noon tomorrow. Stay safe and stay warm!

Just a reminder. The snow levels are listed below

Level One: Roads are not hazardous, report on time

Level Two: Road conditions are such that caution should be taken when driving. A one hour grace period will be allowed. This is without pay

Level Three: Hazardous conditions, no driving is permitted

The above levels apply to Fayette County or any county that associates travel through in order to arrive at TFO. This will only apply from the associates home address in TFO's system to TFO's address.
