🌟 More Staff Changes at TriCounty FS, Inc.! 🌟

At TriCounty FS, we are extremely pleased when we can offer new opportunities to our current employees and promote from within. We’re proud to announce the following team updates:

👏 Silas Owens has accepted the position of Marketing Manager.
Silas has been with TriCounty FS since January 2005, serving in various roles at our Hardin location. He began in the crops department as an applicator, transitioned into propane sales in 2012, later became Warehouse Manager, and since 2018 has served as Area Manager/Crop Specialist for Calhoun County. His years of dedication and leadership make him a great fit for this new role.

👏 Andrea Eilerman has accepted the position of Area Manager for Calhoun County, stepping into the role previously held by Silas.
Andrea joined the TriCounty FS team in 2021 and led the propane department following our acquisition of the propane business from Rull Bros. She was instrumental in ensuring a smooth transition for both the company and former Rull Bros customers. Since then, she has been the welcoming face of our Hardin office.

👏 Wade Prough has accepted the position of Crop Specialist for Calhoun County.
Wade began his career with TriCounty FS in 2020 at our Greene County locations as an operator. From 2022–2024, he served as a custom applicator in Hardin, and over the past year has been their Warehouse Manager. His hands-on experience and commitment to our customers will serve him well in this new position.

📣 Leadership Announcement at TriCounty FS! 📣

As of February 1st, Bret Jackson has been named the new General Manager of TriCounty FS, Inc.

Bret began his career with Medora FS as a custom applicator before joining TriCounty FS in 2005 as a Crops Specialist in the Greenfield/Roodhouse territory. During his time in that role, Bret was consistently recognized for outstanding sales performance from 2005–2013.

In 2013, Bret transitioned into the role of Precision Farming Specialist for the entire company. He played a key role in launching new product offerings—including corn starters, micronutrients, and specialty agronomy products—while also leading our Crops Specialists in precision farming technology. Bret helped educate growers on how to use data to make smarter, more informed agronomic decisions.

Since October 2016, Bret has served as Marketing Manager, where he demonstrated strong leadership while overseeing and supporting our sales teams.

With a deep understanding of operations, sales, and technology, Bret is a dedicated, long-term employee who is well-positioned to lead TriCounty FS, Inc. into the future.

Customer Appreciation Days are happening at TriCounty FS!

Stop by for lunch and meet the team that helps make our company great. Open House location and dates are listed below.

All events will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with the exception of Hardin, which will host its event in the evening from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

In January we celebrated three retirements!!

Jim Milleville has been with TriCounty FS since 2020 as our General Manager. He previously worked at other FS member companies, giving him a total of 38 years of service!

Tony Godar is a familiar face in Calhoun County at our Hardin Location. He has been with TriCounty FS for almost 44 years!

Jim Nettles represented our Greene County area at our Carrollton location for 25 years!

Congratulations gentlemen! We wish you health and happiness in retirement.

Greenfield Fire Department recently reached out with a need for an auger to support their grain bin rescue system. This tool helps make rescue operations faster, safer, and more efficient.

Greene County Farm Bureau and TriCounty FS, Inc. partnered together to meet that need. Last night, we were able to provide the department with a new grain bin auger to help equip their team with the tools necessary to respond during an emergency.

We are grateful for the Greenfield Fire Department’s dedication to protecting our rural community and we are honored to support their continued efforts to keep our farmers and first responders safe.

Thanks to Illinois Farm Bureau and COUNTRY Financial for their support on this project as well. We know they care and support our local farmers!
